Ask a different user to log into Sage APA. From the top tool bar, choose Tools then Users Logged On. Click Reset Crashed Users. A message on the screen will appear: Check for and reset any crashed users. A list will be produced of any reset users. Click Close and log out of Sage APA. Log back into Sage APA as the crashed user.

Sep 16, 2010 · Sage A User Is already Logged in on Computer QUEUE.DTA. Delete QUEUE.DTA file. Sage reports that a user is already logged in and you can take backups etc. A quick and easy way to resolve this (and you need to ensure that the user isn’t in the system and that no one is logged in) is to delete the file QUEUE.DTA.

Finally, uninstalled Peachtree from the admin asst computer and did a fresh install of Peachtree, including updates (still not able to login – The user you entered is already logged into Peachtree.); From what I can see, this issue seems to be based in the actually computer and not at the server level.

Simply Or Sage 50 Accounting User Locked Out. A client using Simply 2010 in multi user mode has someone logged in under multi mode and the hydro goes out (on the workstation only). The user tries to log back in after restart and says it won’t allow into Simply because that user is already logged in. This happens when you force to close down Line 50 i.e. by pressing control + Alt + delet then close down the application. Even though sage is closed donw still thinks that operator x is logged on. To remove this operator, simple solution is sign on as operator x and then sign off.

Open the Task Manager on the server and go to the Processes tab. Check the box titled “Show processes from all users”. See if you can find any instances of mysqld-nt.exe running, if you do end each process (there may be more than one). Try opening with that user after you have ended the processes. You can also just restart the server computer.

If one of the users closes Simply on thier workstation and tries to get back in, they cannot. They are denied with the User already logged in messgage. Just FYI for any Sage Customer support people – I have killed the MYsql-nt task and that fixes the problem temporarily, or a server reboot which is the worst advice I have ever heard.

This is done to protect the integrity of the data within system. However, a software crash might leave Sage 50 Payroll incorrectly assuming that a user is still logged in when he or she clearly is not. Apr 19, 2011 · This does not work. Rather than disconnecting the stuck account, Simply Accounting gives the message “Other users are currently using this company. You can only switch to single-user mode once they have logged out.” Any other ideas? I know that contacting Sage would be a complete waste of time, as they have the world’s worst help desk.
